On 8th March, Prof. Susannah Sun and Ms. Cao Jiyue from the School of Education (SED) participated in the “Establishment Ceremony and First Academic Forum of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Higher Education Teacher Education Alliance” as representatives of USJ.

USJ Macao’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa’s (UCP) Faculty of Human Sciences, are creating a new international double degree programme combining the Bachelor of Communication and Media programme at USJ Macao and the Bachelor of Communication and Cultural Sciences programme at UCP.
The Rector of USJ Macao, Rev. Prof. Stephen Morgan, alongside other members of the USJ and the Macau Spin Incubator board member, warmly welcomed the visit of the Magno Chancellor of the Universidade Politécnica of Mozambique, Professor Lourenço do Rosário, accompanied by the Vice-Consul of Mozambique in Macao, Mr Aurélio Chiconela.
Last week, a delegation of the USJ Macao visited the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto (ISCAP-P. Porto) to reinforce the existing academic and research collaboration and to explore opportunities to develop new forms of partnership. The visit culminated with a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding between both institutions.
Macau Spin Incubator Expands Network through Visits to Macao Government and Consulates in Macao SAR

Macau Spin Incubator visited the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao Government, the Consulate General of Angola, and the Consulate General of Mozambique in Macao SAR. The purpose was to introduce and share the resources and the know-how, fostering potential collaboration opportunities.
Macao Water held a talk with parent company SUEZ’s SWAN Committee (Macao) on 7th March 2024. Dr. Teresa Loong, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of USJ, was invited to deliver a talk on “Invest in Women – Accelerate Progress”.
The visit provided an opportunity for collaborative discussions on educational practices and fostering connections between the two institutions.
