Credit Exemption and Accreditation Application

Applicants may request to be exempted from certain credits in their chosen programme of studies, based on prior studies at a similar academic level taken elsewhere and/or when justified by an applicant’s proven achievements and competencies in the respective field, according to criteria established by the University (USJ’s Academic Regulations).

Typically, the maximum amount of accreditation that may be awarded to each student corresponds to one-third of the total credit load of the respective programme.

The final decision to grant credit accreditation and exemptions is taken by the University.

Fees may be charged for the exemption and accreditation of modules, according to the University’s tuition fee table.
