Short Bio

I began my academic path at the University of Algarve in Portugal, where he earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. My master’s thesis focused on the ecology of seafans along the Portuguese coast, contributing valuable insights into the dynamics of these intricate marine organisms.

Afterwards, I pursued a PhD in Neuroscience, where I explored the relationship between behavioral plasticity and neuronal plasticity. My research highlights the deep connections between environmental adaptation and the brain’s ability to reorganize itself.

Since 2016, I’ve worked as a Lab Technician at the Institute of Science and Environment at USJ, where I manage the fish facility and oversee laboratory equipment essential for biological sample processing.
