Short Bio
A forward-thinking strategist focused on emerging technologies and AI to shape the future of marketing and consumer behavior.
Dr. Lampo, as Head of the Department of Business Studies, leads the management and international development of two flagship programmes in the Faculty of Business and Law: the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
His academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree from Norway's Handelshøyskolen BI, an MBA, and a Doctoral degree completed summa cum laude from the University of Saint Joseph in Macao. An active contributor to his field, he has authored the book Promptly Yours and nearly 30 academic publications; several of these works have received international awards.
He lends his expertise to leading institutions, helping to shape discourse in the discipline. He is the regional coordinator for AGBRP (Academy for Global Business Research and Practice), participates in the INTI International University & Colleges Fellowship program, and contributes to the Editorial Review Board for JGBRP (Journal of Global Business Research and Practice).
Dr. Lampo also is involved in the Technical Committees of international conferences such as ICEME (International Conference on E-business, Management and Economics), MSIE (Management Science and Industrial Engineering), ISCBI (International Symposium on Computational and Business Intelligence) and ICIBE (International Conference on Industrial and Business Engineering), among others.
The scholarly work is supported by years of experience in upper management at international companies. In these roles, he was directly responsible for developing strategic plans, leading sales teams, and implementing new technologies. A creative at heart, Dr. Lampo balances his work with a passion for music, having performed on stage in earlier years—a reflection of his belief in blending strategic thinking with creativity and artistic expression.
