Cai Zhiming
Short Bio
Prof.Cai holds a Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degree in
Computer Science from Hefei University of Technology of China, He has worked at Hefei University of Technology, University of Stuttgart (Germany),
University of Toronto (Canada), Macau University of Science and Technology,
City University of Macau, Macau Millennium College, and University of Saint
Joseph (Macau), holding roles including Assistant, Lecturer, Associate
Professor, Professor, PhD Supervisor; Deputy Director of Software Teaching Office, Deputy Director of Computer Department, Vice Dean of Computer College,
Director of Research Centre, Director of Academic Affairs Office and Head of
Graduate School, Dean of Digital S&T College, Vice Rector, Board Member,
Director of Institution Development, Member of the Trust Committee of Macau
Science and Technology Development Fund, President of Macau Satellite
Navigation Application Association, and Chairman of Macau Software Industry
Association. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in software
engineering, cross-border data processing, system modelling, operating systems,
and distributed systems. He has applied for and led more than 20 research
projects, including National Natural Science Foundation and National Key R&D
projects of China. He has published seven books and over 130 papers, including
more than 60 SCI-indexed papers.
