Short Bio

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Saint Joseph in Macau, China, and hold a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand. My research focuses on microbial diversity and ecology with a specific interest in microbiome studies that integrate human, animal, and environmental. My research focuses on microbial diversity and ecology, with a specific interest in microbiome studies that integrate human, animal, and environmental health through a One Health framework.  My current work investigates the gut-brain axis using small fish models, employing advanced sequencing technologies and bioinformatic analyses to characterize host-microbe interactions.

My expertise encompasses the morphological and molecular identification of prokaryotic (bacteria) and eukaryotic (protists, fungi) microorganisms from gut and environmental samples. I specialize in analyzing the diversity and prevalence of gut microbiota across different hosts, as well as conducting phylogenetic analyses of microbial communities from various ecosystems.
