Sino-Portugal Joint Lab for Marine and Environmental Sciences Launched with Symposium in Portugal

A three-day international symposium was held in Portugal on 6 – 8 June as part of the First Sino-Portugal Joint Laboratory for Marine and Environmental Sciences (JLMES).

The Rector of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao, the Reverend Professor Stephen Morgan, was a panelist at the 32nd Estoril Political Forum, held between 3rd and 5th June, at Hotel Palácio, Estoril, Portugal.
Prof. Nuno Soares, Head of the Department of Architecture and Design of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at USJ, was appointed Co-Director of the UNESCO-UIA Validation Commission for the triennial period 2023-2026.
The USJ Faculty of Arts and Humanities is participating in an international multidisciplinary project entitled “Fighting Hunger: strategies and public policies for the realisation of the human right to adequate food – Transdisciplinary Approach to Food Systems with the support of Artificial Intelligence”.
A 2-sessions day camp organised by the Social Work students was held at the Ilha Verde Campus on April 2 and 9 for Saint Paul School senior high students to learn more about USJ.
