On April 9, 2021, Prof. Vitor Teixeira participated in the XXXI Internation Scientific Conference organised by ACISE and affiliated of the IFCU to present the study made with Prof. Michael Lai on “The use of robotics in the intervention with children with ASD: A pilot study with Milo”.
On April 8, 2021, the Department of Social Work of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) organised a career sharing experience with Social Work Alumni for the year 4 Social Work students.
USJ signed an agreement of Cooperation with the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The first ever Faculty of Business and Law Day was held on March 26, to promote student participation and alumni networking.
The Institute of Science and Environment of USJ has been actively running research projects focused on a broad range of environment-related topics.

On 19 March 2021, all Saint Joseph educational institutions held a joint mass in honour of the Year of Saint Joseph
USJ and UNUMACAU signed a MOU to collaborate on innovative research projects, capacity building initiatives, knowledge exchange engagements, internship programs and other activities of mutual interest.
A symposium with the theme “Macau Social Work under Pandemic” was held to celebrate 2021 World Social Work Day.
