The Bachelor of Psychology provides students with a sound theoretical framework to make sense of human emotions, attitudes, cognitions, and behaviour.

In this programme, students develop methodological and applied skills with which they can explore, interpret, intervene, and evaluate issues within psychological science.

The goal is to facilitate and empower the development of students into professionally competent, diversity-respecting, and dynamic members of organisations and the broader society.

The programme provides conceptual and practical skills in a wide range of psychological application areas, including:

  • Clinical – focusing on individual counselling and therapy,
  • Educational – focusing on the development of children and adolescent learning and school settings,
  • Community – focusing on how individuals and social settings interact at the community level,
  • Organisational – focusing on how people function in the workplace and in institutional settings.

Programme queries can be directed to Leanda Care (Head of Department) or Angus Kuok (Programme Coordinator).
