The Macau Observatory for Social Development of USJ and the Macau Association for Community Care Children co-organised ‘2024 Greater Bay Area Children and Youth Development Roundtable’ on October 8.
On the afternoon of 9 October 2024, a delegation from the China Audio-video and Digital Publishing Association (CADPA) visited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in Macau.
The three institutions will work together to promote activities and projects in three main areas of activity: Research, Teaching and Professional Training; Art, Culture and Tourism; Innovation and Economic and Social Development.

USJ Macao and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (Anglican) Ming Hua Theological College have entered into an academic partnership to contribute to the formation of students in the area of religious studies.
The initiative emphasized the importance of cherishing God’s creation and working collectively to create an eco-friendly environment for future generations.
On 27 September, 2024, a delegation comprising principals and administrators from Malaysian Chinese Independent High Schools, under the auspices of the United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong), accompanied by DSEDJ, conducted an official visit to the University of Saint Joseph.
Ho Kuong Lei, has successfully defended her doctoral thesis in History titled: “Chen Zibao and the Development and Contribution of Patriotic Education in Macau”.

With deep sorrow, we inform you of the recent passing of Emeritus Professor Michael Trimarchi, a beloved member of the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ). Prof. Trimarchi made significant contributions to our academic community, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
This event aimed to explore biodiversity in Macao’s urban wetland ecosystems and the vital role of water stewardship, addressing the challenges and opportunities surrounding sponge city construction in Macao.
USJ was invited to participate in the Manila World University Fair where hundreds of high schoolers and their families and counsellors were in attendance.
