Prof. Helen Liu of the Faculty of Health Sciences was invited to give a talk at the ARTM “Be Cool Project” to promote mental health and prevent the use of drugs for minority communities in Macao.
This achievement recognises the university’s mission in “promoting a caring, ethically responsible, economically, socially and environmentally sustainable society”, highlighting its strong commitment to sustainability and its impactful initiatives aimed at promoting environmental responsibility.
The Rector of USJ, Reverend Professor Stephen Morgan, delivered the third annual Newman Lecture to the combined universities of Notre Dame Australia and Australian Catholic University, at the ACU Saint Patrick’s campus in Melbourne Australia.
This year, the festival highlighted the remarkable achievement of Bryan Garcia and Vitória Santos, two talented students from USJ’s Bachelor of Communication and Media Programme.
USJ Macao hosted the First Lusophone Arbitration Congress on October 11 and 12, attracting over 100 delegates from various regions, including China and Portuguese-speaking countries. Co-organised by ALAM and key arbitration institutions, the congress emphasised the vital role of arbitration in resolving commercial disputes.

USJ Macao and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (Anglican) Ming Hua Theological College have entered into an academic partnership to contribute to the formation of students in the area of religious studies.
