Prof. José Manuel Simões, Head of the Department of Media, Art and Technology of USJ participated in an online seminar titled “Practical Cases of Transnational Journalism: A Case Study in Macau-China”.
Prof. José Manuel Simões, Head of the Department of Media, Art and Technology, and Programme Coordinator for the Communication & Media Bachelor and Master of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), recently participated in an online seminar organised by the CIAC – Center for Arts and Communication Research (Centro de Investigação em Artes e Comunicação) and Universidade do Algarve – Escola Superior de Educação e Comunicação (ESEC).
The conference, titled “Practical Cases of Transnational Journalism: A Case Study in Macau-China”, took place on April 19 in a hybrid format and it was part of the curriculum for the Transnational Communication course which provided second-year students in the Communication Sciences degree programme at ESEC with valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of journalism in a transnational context.
Prof. José Manuel Simões’ expertise and dedication to research and teaching continue to inspire and influence students and scholars alike in the dynamic field of media, art, and technology.
