USJ welcomes the Delegation of the Consulate General of Angola in Macao

A delegation of the Consulate General of Angola in Macao, led by the Consul General of Angola, Dr. Eduardo Galiano, visited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao on 30 January.



Following up on the development status of the exchange affairs, a delegation of the Consulate General of Angola in Macao, led by the Consul General of Angola, Dr. Eduardo Galiano, visited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao on 30 January.

During the visit, USJ Vice-rector for Internationalisation and Academic Affairs, Professor Álvaro Barbosa, and Manager for the International Affairs Office (IAO), Mrs Ana Paula Mota, met with the delegation to discuss sustainable collaboration opportunities in various exchange fields. 

The delegation expressed a strong appreciation for the USJ scholarship support, campus environment and interpersonal atmosphere of the USJ Ilha Verde Campus and its members towards the students from Angola pursuing their studies at USJ. The Consul General said, “It would be a precious opportunity for students to study at USJ and experience life in Macao”.

The Consulate General of Angola in Macao first visited USJ in February 2021, where they discussed enhancing cooperation and hope to promote exchange opportunities further.

Among the delegation were Vice Consul, Mrs Teresa dos Santos and Consular Assistant, Mr. Paulo Silva.
