The official opening of the new USJ Gallery & “Greatest Hits” Exhibition (informal event) will be held on Wednesday, 23rd September, at 6:00 PM.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is proud to announce the official opening of the new university gallery, located adjacent to the Don Bosco Auditorium on the Ilha Verde Campus, on Wednesday, 23rd September, at 6:00 PM.
Positioned alongside the university library at the heart of the campus, the New University Gallery fulfills a strategic vision originally announced by former Rector, The Rev’d Professor Stephen Morgan, and endorsed by the General Council in 2020 to establish a dedicated, modern space for academic and artistic expression.
To mark this milestone, the gallery’s inaugural exhibition, “Greatest Hits”, showcases a curated selection of outstanding graduation projects created by Bachelor of Communication and Media students over the past six years. The exhibition places a strong emphasis on works exploring the intersection of modern technology and human well-being, highlighting the innovative and creative contributions of USJ’s emerging media talents.
Members of the public, media, and university community are warmly invited to attend the opening and celebrate this new chapter for USJ.
