Macau Spin Incubator Becoming a Global Partner of HKSTP

Macau Spin Incubator is now an official Global Partner of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). This membership enables Macau Spin to connect with a powerful innovation ecosystem in Hong Kong, allowing some of its incubatees to join HKSTP programmes, such as Techathon+, and to co-organise events and promotions. This strengthens its role as a bridge between the Greater Bay Area and Portuguese-speaking markets and aligns with HKSTP’s vision of fostering cross-regional innovation ecosystems.

USJ Becoming Members of the GUIN

Macau Spin Incubator is a core part of the University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) participation in the Global University Innovation Network (GUIN), an initiative founded by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and 15 leading local universities, alongside multiple institutions globally, such as Ewha Womans University and Universiti Brunei Darussalam. This membership offers USJ several concrete opportunities: global exchange and networking, cross-member collaborations, innovation and entrepreneurship programs, and a platform for startups and talent exchange.

Launching the Macau Spin Patron’s Programme

The Macau Spin Patron’s Programme is a strategic initiative designed to develop a robust network of partners who are incubators, potential investors, mentors, and market experts in both Portuguese-speaking countries and the Greater Bay Area. Through this programme, patrons gain access to Macau Spin’s ecosystem of startups and entrepreneurs, while Macau Spin benefits from strengthened partnerships that support its mission to serve as a platform for Portuguese-speaking countries to incubate in Macau and to bridge to the Greater Bay Area. The programme complements Macau Spin’s existing services, which include office space, business consultancy, mentorship, networking events, field trips, and business pairing opportunities for its members.
