Teachers and students of the different School of Education (SED) programmes participated in the 2023 Macau Anglican College (MAC) Inclusion Conference on the afternoon of April 21.



Teachers and students of the different School of Education (SED) programmes participated in the 2023 Macau Anglican College (MAC) Inclusion Conference on the afternoon of April 21.

Many experts and scholars in the education field participated in the event. Prof. Rochelle Ge, Dean of SED, and Prof. Frances Lee, Programme Coordinator for the Master of Education, participated in the opening lighting ceremony of the conference.

During the conference, Ms. Gloria Choi, Head of the Division of Infant and Primary Education at the Education and Youth Development Bureau, presented and updated the audience about the 2020 administrative regulation on the city’s Special Education System.

Prof. Frances Lee as one of the keynote speakers from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) elaborated on “Differentiated Curriculum and Instruction”. Dr. Kam Ka Wa addressed issues related to clinical courses, prognosis, and treatment of Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder. The University of Macau Associate Professor of Psychology Prof. Chi Peilian, talked about Parenting Stress and Resilience in Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Through participating in this event, students gained a better understand of inclusive education.
