A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation and Exchange in the Field of Philosophy between Sun Yat-sen University and University of Saint Joseph was signed on 10 April, 2026.
Vice-Rector Professor Álvaro Barbosa and Dr. João Leong Brochado delivered Keynotes in the International Media Conference on “Media, Culture and Identity: Exploring Global Narratives and Intersections” in Bengaluru, India, organised by Kristu Jayanti University in collaboration with USJ Macao.
USJ Macao took part in the International Education & Career Korea Fair, held in Seoul from 28 to 29 March, marking its presence in the South Korean market and promoting Macao as a destination for higher education.

Prof. Ivan Arraut from the Institute of Data Engineering and Science (IDEAS) presented an open lecture on “Physics of Black Holes, Quantum information and Quantum computers” in Shenzhen, China.
The “Legacy Program Youth Delegation”, jointly organised by Legado and the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao, was officially launched on 7 April 2026.
