The Architects Association of Macau donated a batch of books, magazines, and other materials to the University of Saint Joseph.
Last month, the Architects Association of Macau (AAM) donated a batch of books, magazines, and other materials to the University of Saint Joseph (USJ). The donation included professional architectural design books and periodicals from Macao and neighbouring regions, as well as a series of architectural magazines published by the Association for more than 20 years.
The donation comes from the association’s mission to promote the professional development of architects in Macau, to support the architectural design professional course establishments in higher education institutions, and to cultivate local talents.
The donation was received, on behalf of USJ, by Prof. Filipe Afonso, Programme Supervisor of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, and Prof. Nuno Soares, Head of the Department of Architecture and Design of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, who expressed gratitude for the generous donation and continuous support and collaboration from AAM over the years to the Department of Architecture and Design.
