This MOU signing opens doors to innovative academic collaborations, student and faculty exchanges, and joint research initiatives, reinforcing the commitment to shaping globally competitive students of the two institutions.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) and the Treston International College officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Treston Bar and Dining Hall, marking the beginning of a promising partnership aimed at enriching academic exchange and expanding global career opportunities for students.
The signing ceremony took place on the 24th of January 2025, as part of a trip supported by the Education Fund of the Macao Special Administrative Region. Dr. Teresa Loong, Vice-Rector for Student Life of USJMacao and Prof. Maria Carolina Abanil of the Academic Director of the Treston International College, co-led the signing ceremony.
The event was attended by representatives from both institutions, reaffirming their shared commitment to fostering holistic education and cross-cultural learning experiences.
Representing Treston International College were Engr. Allan Godfrey Sagun, Head of the School of Technology; Mr. Kenneth Castillo, Senior High School Assistant Principal; and Ms. Gladys Estrella, Head of Student Affairs & Services Office.
The delegation from the University of Saint Joseph Macao included Prof. Carlos Sena Caires, Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities; Prof. Alessandro Lampo, Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Business Administration; Prof. Karen Tagulao, Program Coordinator for the Master of Environmental Sciences and Management; Prof. Gerald Estadieu from the Faculty of Arts & Humanities; and Mr. Ben Lei, Head of the Domestic Student Recruitment Office.
