The University of Saint Joseph Macao signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia), on 1 March, 2024.
A symposium organised by USJ’s Sino-Lusophone Business Development Centre titled “Brazilian Enterprises from Portuguese-speaking Countries Taxation Policy Exchange Symposium” took place in Hengqin on April 26, 2024. The event aimed to promote economic, commercial, and cultural exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

The School of Education celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) programme with a seminar, themed “Preparing for Tomorrow: Curriculum Strategies for AI Teaching – Challenges, Opportunities, and Innovations” held on the 20th of April, 2024.
USJ staff and students visited the “Chinese People’s Liberation Army Macao Garrison Taipa Barracks Open Day” Student Session on 30 April, 2024. USJ aims to deepen the participants’ understanding of national security and cultivate the university students considering a strong positive energy of patriotism and love for Macao through this visit.
USJ is hosting a special exhibition showcasing the magnificent Tang Dynasty murals titled “Encountering the Tang Dynasty: A Golden Age on the Walls”, organised in collaboration with the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration, and National Conditions Education (Macau) Association. The exhibition is open to the public from April 30th to May 11th, 2024.
The workshop was designed to enable the students to deeply explore their personal beliefs, values, future dreams, interests, and the attitudes, knowledge and skills involved.

Dr. Alessandro Lampo, Assistant Professor at the USJ Faculty of Business and Law received the “Best Oral Presentation Award” for his latest paper titled “Examining How ‘Technology Show-off’ Affects the Acceptance of Innovations in the Battery Electric Vehicle Sector”.
The meeting was hosted by Mr Poon Chi-ming, Executive Director of Caritas and Chairman of the Social Workers Professional Committee, who encouraged the social workers to strive for self-improvement, not forgetting the original intention of being a social worker, and to create vitality together with the service users in the changing social service environment.
