The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is proud to announce its official alliance with the Wofoo Leaders Network (WLN). On June 22, 2026, USJ representatives attended the spectacular “Wofoo Leaders Network 20th Anniversary Celebration and the 15th Integrated Wofoo Leaders’ Network Executive Committee Inauguration Ceremony” held in Hong Kong.
Centered around the theme “Shining for Two Decades, Passing the Torch, Harmonizing the Future,” the event celebrated WLN’s twenty-year legacy of cultivating social innovation and nurturing over 10,000 youth leaders. It also marked a monumental milestone for our institution, as USJ has officially established the very first WLN Chapter outside of Hong Kong, opening a bright new chapter of growth, leadership, and meaningful social impact for our students.
A defining moment of pride for the USJ community took place during the ceremony when our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students, Ms. Janissa Ramos and Ms. Natercia Manhice, stepped onto the stage to receive the official chapter flag from Mr. Anthony Leung, Supervisor of the WLN Steering Committee and Mr. Felix Chan, Director of Hong Kong Talent Engage. Ms. Ramos and Ms. Manhice will lead this exciting new venture as the Founding President and Secretary of the WLN USJ Chapter, respectively. Their passion, commitment, and leadership embody the true spirit of USJ. The USJ delegation was warmly supported by USJ Vice-Rector for Student Life, Dr. Teresa Loong, and Prof, Florence Lei, whose unwavering guidance made this historic milestone possible.
Furthermore, this partnership leverages Hong Kong and Macau’s unique advantages under the “One Country, Two Systems” framework to deepen the interconnectedness of youth within the Greater Bay Area. USJ students can look forward to multi-dimensional international exchange platforms, including upcoming collaborative trips with the ASEAN Youth Organization and field studies to “Belt and Road” Central Asian nations such as Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Locally and regionally, our students will also be invited to participate in the upcoming second “A Better World Summit” to exchange innovative ideas with local, mainland, and international peers.
USJ extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Wofoo Leaders Network on their 20th anniversary. We look forward to many years of collaborative leadership, dedicated service, and transformation, empowering our youth to become global citizens with a deep love for their community and country.
