A delegation of the Domingos Lam Centre for Research in Education (DLCRE) visited the Salvation Army Sunshine Education to exchange ideas.



A delegation of the Domingos Lam Centre for Research in Education (DLCRE) at USJ recently visited the Salvation Army Sunshine Education Centre to exchange ideas with the centre’s team on their respective work and services.

The Salvation Army Sunshine Education Centre is led by specialists in special and inclusive education, providing diverse services including student development, parent support, teacher training, and community education.

During the visit, Prof. Miranda Mak, Coordinator of DLCRE, presented the Sunshine Education Centre with teaching materials developed by the Chinese Literacy Education and Research (CLEAR) project, with the aim of bringing research outcomes directly into practitioners’ hands to support frontline work.DLCRE looks forward to gathering users’ feedback in due course to further refine the materials. DLCRE extends its gratitude to The Salvation Army for their warm reception and looks forward to future collaboration.
