USJ Vice-Rector Dr. Teresa Loong attended the “Safe School Network” 15th Anniversary Crime Prevention Communication Meeting on 12 December, where she shared USJ’s crime prevention initiatives with the Judiciary Police.
Counselor Zhang Yiqun presented a public lecture titled ‘Reflecting on China’s Foreign Educational Exchanges Through My Diplomatic Experience’ at USJ.
USJ OSAA participated in an exchange tour to the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin organised by the Macao Student Affairs Association (MSAA) in December 13, along with five other local higher education institutions.
The University of Saint Joseph held a Workshop Series at Van Lang University, Vietnam, on a variety of topics including Green Architecture, Social Outreach and Psychology, Artificial Intelligence, and Design, attracting over a hundred students to engage in hands-on learning opportunities.

The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) conferred four doctoral degrees in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, and Science, and 71 master’s degrees at the “USJ Ceremony for the Conferral of Higher Degree 2023” on 9 December.
USJ Prof. Nuno Soares, Head of the Department of Architecture and Design of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, was elected Vice-President of the Architects Association of Macau for 2024–2025.
Prof. Ruth Hayhoe, from Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, and Adjunct Professor at the USJ School of Education, renowned for her expertise in Chinese culture and Christian universities in China, concluded her visit at USJ with two public lectures and one school and library visit.

The “Student Alliance” was declared to be the new University of Saint Joseph Students’ Association (USJSA), receiving over 90% votes in support.
USJ’s Macao Observatory for Social Development and The Macau Association for Community Care Children co-organised seminar on national education for children and youth of Greater Bay Area to promote patriotism and cultural understanding.
