Prof. Alessandro Lampo, Head of the Department of Business Studies at the University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) Faculty of Business and Law, addressed the 8th International Symposium on Computational and Business Intelligence (ISCBI 2026) as an invited speaker in Bali, Indonesia.

Held from 6 to 8 February and co-sponsored by IEEE, the high-profile conference gathered leading researchers and practitioners from across the globe. Professor Lampo addressed the symposium on the timely topic “Explaining Long-Term Engagement with Generative AI.” His presentation examined sustained interaction between users and generative AI systems, moving beyond initial adoption to explore the factors that foster ongoing use in different contexts.

Attendees, including international academics and industry experts, engaged with the subject, discussing implications for business, ethics, and future technological development.
