The Master of Christian Studies is designed for students who have completed the Bachelor of Christian Studies. For candidates of seminaries, religious congregations, and who aspire the First Cycle Canonical Degree in Theology (Sacrae Theologiae Baccalaureatus, S.T.B) awarded by the Catholic Institute of Theology in Macao, they will have to successfully complete the modules offered in these two Christian Studies programmes.

The programme coordinator is Prof. Andrew Leong.


Student Experience

With this programme, students will be able to:

  • Consolidate the theological knowledge and academic skills gained at the bachelor level in order to begin graduate level research in a chosen topic, resulting in a substantial dissertation that demonstrates sound doctrine, breath of scope, pastoral sensitivity, cultural awareness, and clarity of thought.  
  • Integrate theoretical principles with adequate reflection on the pastoral realities that the students are already facing or expected to encounter.
