In recent years, comparative studies on how humanity has reflected on the sacred vis-a-vis the everyday as expressed in literature across cultures. A group of scholars especialized in comparative literature, theology, religious studies, and related fields met in 2019 to explore themes such as the speakable and the unspeakable in human religious sensitivities, the effect of religious texts in framing the human perception of sacred time and the everyday, and other comparative studies on religious texts and traditions.
