The Consul-General of France in Hong Kong and Macao, Ms Christile DRULHE paid a courtesy visit to USJ on April 6th, 2023.



On April 6th, 2023, the Consul-General of France in Hong Kong and Macao, Ms Christile DRULHE paid a courtesy visit  to the University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ)

The Vice-rector for Research, Professor Keith Morrison, warmly welcomed the delegation composed of the Consul-General of France, Ms Christile DRULHE, the Counselor for Education, University and Scientific Cooperation, Ms Camélia AISSAT and the Head of Press and Communications, Mr Louis  Doucet and introduced them to Dean of Faculty of Arts and Humanities,  Prof Carlos Sena Caires, Professor at the Department of Architecture and Design of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Mr Gerald Estadieu and the Manager of International Affairs, Mrs Ana Paula Mota.

During the meeting, the Vice-rector and the Consul-General discussed opportunities to strengthen the academic and scientific cooperation between the parties. Also, they discussed how to enhance the existing cooperation between the University of Saint Joseph Macao and the French Higher Education Institutions, which has been implemented since 2012. During the meeting, the parties looked at other possibilities to foster and expand new academic and scientific cooperation opportunities. The Counselor for Education, University and Scientific Cooperation of the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macao shared the planned activities and the scholarship possibilities available to Macao SAR students in France.

The meeting was followed by a campus tour, and the Consul-General of France appreciated the overall facilities, environment and interpersonal atmosphere of the USJ Ilha Verde Campus and its members.
