The Faculty of Business and Law at USJ and Guangzhou University have officially strengthened their partnership through a student recruitment agreement.
The Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) and Guangzhou University (GZHU) have officially strengthened their partnership through a recruitment agreement. The signing ceremony took place at GZHU on 17 January, marking a significant step in promoting student mobility.
The agreement was formalized in the presence of a USJ delegation led by Professor Alessandro Lampo, Head of the Department of Business Studies, and Mr. David Yang, Head of the Mainland Cooperation Office. Representing Guangzhou University were Professor Zhu Hui, Deputy Dean, and Prof. Jiang Caifen, who welcomed the USJ delegation and endorsed the shared vision for the partnership.
This collaboration builds on the previous recruitment agreement with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) and the Tripartite Academic Alliance among USJ, GDUFS, and GZHU to establish clear pathways for student recruitment and academic cooperation between USJ and high-profile partner institutions in Guangzhou.
The central pillar of this partnership is the FBL’s Master of Business Administration (MBA). The programme focuses on real-world skills, ethical judgment, and strategic thinking, preparing graduates to lead effectively in China and internationally.
Faculty of Business and Law has been growing its network of partnerships and proactively fostering academic integration and in developing talent with a cross-border perspective. These initiatives align with broader educational strategies and support the development objectives of the Greater Bay Area.
