On the evening of February 19th, 2019, the USJ Residential Hall community gathered at the Kent Wong Exhibition Gallery to celebrate the CNY.

On the evening of February 19th, 2019, the USJ community gathered at the Kent Wong Exhibition Gallery located at Residential Hall to celebrate the Chinese New Year as a community.  Around 35 students and staff including new exchange students and their buddies, attended the event, which also served as an opportunity to welcome the Spring Semester international exchange students and to bid farewell to the long term Residential Hall resident, Professor Cheng Wah Kwan, who moved out earlier this month.

The event promoted community engagement amongst Residential Hall residents and the USJ community, and was co-organised by the Residential Hall Office (RHO), the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) and the Public and International Relations Office (PIRO). Vice-Rector Professor Álvaro Barbosa and staff members from the three organising offices were present at the dinner, which was kindly sponsored by the Macao Foundation.
