The University of Saint Joseph organised and held “The 4th Macao Basic Law Knowledge Competition” on 18th May 2022. The event was aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of the Macao Basic Law.



The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) organised and held “The 4th Macao Basic Law Knowledge Competition” on 18th May 2022.  The competition was sponsored by Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEDJ) and supported by Macao Basic Law Youth Ambassador Promotion Association (YPA). The competition was aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of the content and interpretation of Macao Basic Law.

A total of 5 teams, comprising 11 USJ students from different programmes, competed for the championship.  The competition was divided into 3 rounds: Required Questions, Long Questions and Quick Response Questions.  Mr. Lo Cheok In (Alex), Vice-Chairman of YPA, was invited to be the judge of the competition.  He was impressed with the students’ sound knowledge of the Macao Basic Law, particularly as they were not studying Law as their major.
