The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) concluded successfully its 2022/2023 Mentorship Programme on June 24, 2023.



The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) concluded successfully its 2022/2023 Mentorship Programme with an appreciation dinner held on the 18th floor of Residential Hall in USJ Ilha Verde Campus on June 24, 2023. The event marked the finale of the programme and celebrated the achievements and contributions of both mentors and mentees.

Dr. Teresa Loong, Director of the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs, presented certificates of appreciation to all mentors, acknowledging their dedication and support provided to the mentees throughout the programme. The attended mentors, mentees, and facilitators, engaged in lively discussions, exchanging ideas and experiences. They also offered valuable suggestions for the continued growth and development of the programme.

The USJ Mentorship Programme 2022/23 was inaugurated on the 17th of December, 2022. During the programme, mentors and mentees scheduled meetings, the mentees benefited from the wealth of knowledge, support, and guidance offered by their mentors, while also expanding their professional networks and broadening their horizons before graduation.

The USJ Mentorship Programme aims to provide a valuable opportunity for our students and young alumni to seek advice and guidance from our alumni mentors in different industries.  The University would like to express the gratitude and appreciation to the selflessness of all the voluntary mentors and generous sponsorship for this orientation by the Macau Foundation (MF). The USJ Mentorship Programme contributes to the University’s mission of achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5, 8, and 10.
