Through this MoU, both universities have signalled their interest in cooperation in terms of student and teacher mobility, double degrees, joint offers in blended mode, and e-learning in Portuguese and English.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in Macao and the University of Western São Paulo (UNOESTE) in Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Brazil, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions at various levels.
The MoU was signed between the Dean of the Doctoral School of USJ, Professor Adérito Fernandes-Marcos, and the Director General of UNOESTE, Professor Augusto César de Oliveira Lima. Accompanying the process were Professor Álvaro Barbosa, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation at USJ, and the Pro-Rectors of UNOESTE, Professor Adilson Eduardo Guelfi and Professor José Creste.

UNOESTE is a private university located in the interior of São Paulo that has recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, with its headquarters in the city of Presidente Prudente and campuses in Jaú and Guarujá, São Paulo, Brazil. Universidade de São José, Macau e Universidade do Oeste Paulista, São Paulo, Brasil, assinam Memorando de Entendimento
A Universidade de São José (USJ), Macau, e a Universidade do Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE), Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Brasil, assinaram um memorando de entendimento que visa estreitar a cooperação entre as duas instituições em vários níveis.
Através deste Memorando de Entendimento ambas as universidades sinalizaram interesse na cooperação ao nível da mobilidade de estudantes e professores, dupla titulação e ofertas conjuntas na modalidade mista e e-learning em língua portuguesa e inglesa.
O memorando de entendimento foi assinado pelo Diretor da Escola Doutoral da USJ, Professor Dr. Adérito Fernandes-Marcos, e o Diretor Geral da UNOESTE, Prof. Dr. Augusto César de Oliveira Lima. Acompanharam o processo o Professor Dr. Álvaro Barbosa, Vice-Reitor para a Internacionalização da USJ e os Pró-Reitores da UNOESTE, Prof. Dr. Adilson Eduardo Guelfi e Prof. Dr. José Creste.
