USJ Delegation Gives Talk at Foshan Beibo Dehan Foreign Languages School

Prof. Thomas presented a seminar talk titled “Case Study of Macau: Implementation of 30.60 Dual Carbon Goals, ESG Management, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals” to a group of over 100 high school students in Foshan Beibo Dehan Foreign Languages School.



On March 26, 2026, representatives from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), including Assistant Professor Thomas Lei from the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) and Ms. Jenny Mok from the Domestic Student Recruitment Office (DSRO), visited Foshan Beibo Dehan Foreign Languages School for student recruitment talk.

During the visit, Prof. Thomas also presented a seminar talk titled “Case Study of Macau: Implementation of 30.60 Dual Carbon Goals, ESG Management, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals” to a group of over 100 high school students in Foshan Beibo Dehan Foreign Languages School, who also expressed interest in applying to the Bachelor of Environmental Science and Bachelor of Biology and Biotechnology programmes offered at the USJ/ISE.

Foshan Beibo Dehan Foreign Language School was founded in 2014. It is an international, multilingual, boarding school integrating primary, junior high, senior high, and international curriculum classes. The school is situated in Sanshui District, Foshan, and is conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from the city centers of Guangzhou, Foshan, and Zhaoqing. The campus boasts first-class teaching buildings, dormitories, a gymnasium, a standard sports field, a comprehensive laboratory building, and its green spaces and cultural landscape are all top-notch. 

The ISE/USJ looks forward to creating future collaborations and receiving students from Foshan Beibo Dehan Foreign Languages School.
