USJ Students, staff and alumni members provided volunteer assistance during the citywide COVID-19 nucleic acid testing rounds between 19 – 28 June, at the Ilha Verde Campus.

Students, staff, and alumni members of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) provided volunteer assistance during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round of citywide COVID-19 nucleic acid testing (NAT) between 19 to 28 of June 2022, at the Ilha Verde Campus.

The mass testing was successfully completed thanks to the efficiency and professionalism of the front-line workers of the Macau SAR government, and for the generous support of the USJ volunteers along with volunteers from Colégio Diocesano de São José 5 (CDSJ5), and the well-organised arrangements of the NAT testing facility at Ilha Verde Campus station from the management of Colégio Diocesano de São José 6 (CDSJ6).

Volunteer work is an important whole-person development. Members of USJ, staff and students alike, are encouraged to get involved in social events to increase the awareness of the community and to contribute their own time for meaningful activities. The University aims to cultivate a caring surrounding among students and staff members while providing more community outreach services.

Interested individuals are welcome to sign up to become a USJ Volunteer for future in-campus mass testing assistance or related activities in the link below:
