USJ Macao and De La Salle Group Institutions in the Philippines Forge Academic Partnership for Collaborative Enrichment and Innovation

USJ’s School of Education Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with two Institution of the De La Salle Group Institutions in the Philippines, namely FSC College of Education, De La Salle University, and Senior High School of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas on 19 February, 2024.
On February 19th, 2024, in Manila, Philippines, the University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ) School of Education, represented by the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Academic Affairs, Professor Álvaro Barbosa, and the De La Salle Group institutions in the Philippines, namely Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education, De La Salle University, and the Senior High School of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, represented, respectively by the Dean Br. Bernard S. Oca FSC, and the President Br. Francisco De La Rosa VI FSC, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance academic collaboration in various areas, supporting the staff’s academic enrichment and developing broad and effective academic-scientific collaboration on topics of common interest of the respective institutions.
Under the terms of these MOUs, the cooperation between USJ’s School of Education and the De La Salle Group will encompass various forms of collaboration, not limited to mobility of researchers from both institutions, the exchange of undergraduate and postgraduate students, co-supervision of dissertations and theses, the organisation of symposiums, conferences on research topics, to cooperate to promote the education of students and teachers in the programmes offering USJ Scholarships to students and teachers of the Senior High School of DLSU-D on Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes (Master’s) and so forth.
The signing of these MOUs marks a significant milestone in the academic collaboration between USJ Macao and De La Salle Group, Philippines.
