Researchers from USJ’s ISE published article on geochemistry of submarine sediments collected in DHF on the Southwest Indian Ridge
Researchers from the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) published a study in Marine Geology. The study focused on the geochemistry of submarine sediments collected in the newly discovered basaltic-hosted Duanqiao-1 hydrothermal field (DHF) on the Southwest Indian Ridge (SWIR).
It joins researchers from SIO, KLSG, SOA, SES – ZJU (Hangzhou), ISE – USJ (Macao), SOC, CUG (Beijing), IDL (Lisbon), SJTU (Shanghai) and CUG (Wuhan).
This paper is part of the project SWIMAR, funded by the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) and coordinated by Prof. Ágata Alveirinho Dias from ISE, who is also a researcher at IDL.
