Innovative Minds: FAH Students Showcase Talent at ArtTech Fusion 2025

USJ presented an exhibition of ten design products developed by master’s students from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao, showcased recently the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of its students at ArtTech Fusion 2025, held at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in Vietname from 24 to 26 September, 2025.
USJ presented an exhibition of ten design products developed by master’s students from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH). Guided by Prof. Carlos Sena Caires, Dean of FAH, and refined for business feasibility by Prof. Alessandro Lampo, Head of the Department at the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), the projects demonstrated the strength of cross-faculty collaboration.
Inspired by the theme “DESIGNed to Relax”, students created a collection of wellbeing products that combine innovative design with practical market applications. Among the highlights were:
- Easy Drink, a smart water-drinking assistance device that supports users with limited mobility. Its practicality makes it relevant to the healthcare and eldercare industries.
- Eggshell, a posture-monitoring device designed for children, offers both health benefits and an engaging way to build good habits.
- Meditune, a wellness innovation that fuses music and medicine to safeguard mental and physical health, reflects the growing demand for holistic wellbeing solutions.
All ten projects drew strong interest from both local and international visitors, praised for their aesthetic appeal and commercial potential.
The initiative shows USJ’s distinctive approach to education, where creativity meets entrepreneurship, and academic disciplines converge to address professional and societal challenges.
