Visit to Sun Yat-Sen University

Prof. Shirley Siu, Prof. Shek Kiu Chan, and Prof. Thomas Lei from ISE/USJ, visited the School of Marine Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University on October 20, 2022.



On October 20, 2022, Prof. Shirley Siu, Prof. Shek Kiu Chan, and Prof. Thomas Lei from the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), visited the School of Marine Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) for meetings and discussion for further collaborations.

The USJ representatives were warmly welcomed by Prof. Jiaxue Wu and Prof. Haixian Xiong from the School of Marine Sciences, and Prof. Shaojie Fan from the School of Atmospheric Sciences.

SYSU was founded by Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and with an educational tradition spanning over 100 years, is a preeminent research, academic and cultural center and the premier location for talent development in South China. SYSU has developed into a modern comprehensive university that enjoys a reputation as a top-tier university nationally and a renowned university internationally.
