Prof. Thomas Lei from USJ/ISE, visited the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College On October 11, 2022.
On October 11, 2022, Prof. Thomas Lei from the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), visited the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) for meetings and discussion for further collaborations.
The USJ representative was warmly welcomed by Prof. Bruce Xu, Department Head, Department of Life Sciences, Prof. Siu-Tai Tsim, Associate Head, Department of Life Sciences, Prof. Daniel Ruan, Prof. Donald Lee, Prof. Eason Li, Prof. Thomas Wang, and Prof. Danny Leong.
As the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) was jointly founded by Beijing Normal University (BNU) and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). UIC is the first modern college in the Chinese mainland that upholds a liberal arts education, situated in Zhuhai city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The ISE/USJ looks forward to creating future collaborations with UIC.
