Organised by the Macao Daily News Readers’ Charity Fund, the 30th Walk for a Million 2013 turned out to be an enormous success on the 8th December, 2013. Close to 60 students, staff and their family members from the USJ community took part in this annual event, hitting a record high this year, and we were able to raise MOP 3,058.8 in funds. All proceeds will go the Macao Daily News Readers’ Charity Fund to benefit the Macao residents in needs.

On the day of the event, we were blessed with beautiful sunshine and the breeze. In USJ polo T-shirts and led by our Rector, Father Peter, we kicked off the walk at the Macao Science Centre, passing by the Kun Yam Statue and Macao Tower, even more USJ members joined us while passing the Sai Van Lake. We finished the walk in one and a half hour with great joy and satisfaction.
