USJSA organised a station featuring Chinese calligraphy writing and other festive activities to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year.

To celebrate Chinese New Year and successively enrich campus life and have students experience Chinese culture, the University of Saint Joseph Students’ Association (USJSA) organised a “CNY traditions station” from January 19 to 21, in the new Student Lounge area.

Students and staff members had the opportunity to learn or practice traditional Chinese calligraphy on “Fai Chun”, a traditional CNY decoration featuring good blessings using ink on red paper, and taste traditional sweets served only during this holiday.

The activities were partly funded Alumni Association of the University of Saint Joseph (AAUSJ), with the support of the Office for Students and Alumni Affairs (OSAA).
