USJ Single Origin Coffee Club hosted the “Sakura Festival 2022” on 17th and 18th of March 2022 at the Student Lounge.
The “Sakura Festival 2022” was held on the 17th and 18th of March 2022 in the University’s Student Lounge.
During the two-day event, students could buy and try different types of coffee and the special “Sakura Favourite pour-over,” brewed and poured by members of the USJ Single Origin Coffee Club.
Cherry blossoms were used as the main theme during the blooming period of the campus’ cherry trees so that students can remember the moment during the blossoming season.
To promote care for the environment, participants enjoyed discounts for their coffees if they took photos of the cherry trees during the event or brought their reusable cups.
USJ would like to express its gratitude to “Black Coffee” and Ms. Yoyo Kou for their full sponsorship, and to Ms. Kathy Kok and Ms. Kinki Chan for cooperating with the desserts sold in this event.
All of the returns from the coffee sales will be used for the future development of the USJ Single Origin Coffee Club.
