From February 1 to 2, 2025, USJ Macao attended the Seoul International Education and Emigration Fair, extending reach in East Asia.

The annual Seoul International Education and Emigration Fair was held in the commercial district of Gangnam from February 1-2, 2025. The public fair attracts over 10,000 registered visitors at the large COEX exhibition hall, and supported by various Embassies and entities such as Campus France and Education USA, it boosts exhibitors such as study abroad centres, language schools, international high schools, universities and related service providers, and for the first time ever, a higher education institution from Macao with the participation of the University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ). Attended by students and family members alike, the event is a key venue for them to conveniently learn about various aspects of pursuing education in foreign countries and the available opportunities.

USJ student recruitment representatives conversed in English and Korean with visitors, explaining the University features, programme offerings and student life in Macao. The recent adversities of studying abroad for Korean students have also prompted more practical concerns such as stability, safety and affordability of schools, with parents in particular hoping to explore more options and make the most informed decisions for their children. USJ Macao prides itself on its international profile and close-knit community of members and students, and situated in a remarkably safe city of unique historical colours, the University hopes to continue increasing visibility for universities in Macao and admit promising young scholars globally.
