The University of Saint Joseph, Macao, and the Hindustan Group of Institutions, India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various academic and institutional levels.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ), Macao, and the Hindustan Group of Institutions (HGI), India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various academic and institutional levels.
The MoU was signed between the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation at USJ, Professor Álvaro Barbosa, and the Vice-President of HINDUSTAN group, Dr. Ashok George Verghese. Also present at the signing were Dr. T. S. Sudalaimuthu, Coordinator of IQAC at HGI, and Dr. Usha S., Head of Ranking at HGI.
Through this agreement, both institutions express a shared commitment to collaborate in several key areas, including the exchange of faculty members and research scholars, student mobility and academic exchange initiatives, and the sharing of academic resources. The partnership also encompasses joint research projects, publications, and supervision, as well as the organisation of conferences, seminars, and workshops. Furthermore, it supports the delivery of lectures either in person or online, cultural exchange programmes, summer schools, academic internships, and the implementation of Twinning, Joint, or Dual Degree Programmes.
This partnership marks an important step toward enhancing internationalisation strategies, broadening academic horizons, and fostering intercultural understanding for students and faculty members alike.
