On this special occasion, SED invited distinguished alumna Kinki Chan to share her professional journey and practical experiences with the BEd students.

On May 15, the School of Education (SED) hosted an evening gathering for final-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) students on the 18th floor of the Residential Hall. The event, supported by the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) and sponsored by the Macau Foundation, aimed to equip soon-to-be graduates with valuable insights as they prepare to enter the teaching profession and support a smooth transition from academic life to professional practice by offering early exposure to industry realities and career pathways.

On this special occasion, SED invited distinguished alumna Kinki Chan to share her professional journey and practical experiences with the BEd students. The interactive session offered candid discussions on career development, current trends in education, interview preparation, and the realities of working as a teacher in Macau. Through personal stories and advice, the guest provided relatable guidance on overcoming challenges and thriving in the field. The gathering created a warm and engaging atmosphere where Year 4 students could connect directly with successful graduate, ask questions, and build meaningful networks.

The School of Education extends our sincere gratitude to Kinki Chan for her generous sharing, as well as to the Macau Foundation and OSAA for their valuable support. Events like this play a vital role in empowering USJ’s future educators with confidence, knowledge, and a strong professional network as they embark on their teaching careers.
