Prof. Vitor Teixeira, from the Faculty of Social Science and Education, participated on a webinar titled “How long does time have? Children’s Time Use” (“Quanto tempo o tempo tem? O uso do tempo das crianças”) as a guest speaker, on the 28th of January.



Prof. Vitor Teixeira, from the Faculty of Social Science and Education, Department of Psychology 0f the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), was invited to be a guest speaker in a Webinar organised by the Educational Department of  the Municipality of Maia in Portugal (Câmara Municipal da Maia) in collaboration with the SincLab – Social Inclusion Laboratory of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, held on the 28th of January.

The first webinar’s theme was “How long does time have? Children’s Time Use” (“Quanto tempo o tempo tem? O uso do tempo das crianças” ), moderated by Mr. Miguel Borges, Researcher at the University of Minho, Portugal, talks about themes particularly important during a pandemic namely the increasing time in front of screens and the reduction of physical activity.

The webinar was an initiative titled “The 21st Century School in 61 minutes” (“Escola XXI in 61 minutes”), aims to to add value to the public debate about the most various academic-related topics, set on promising future for children and young students.
