Prof. Thomas Lei from the Institute of Science and Environment of USJ spoke about “Statistical Forecast of Pollution Episodes in Macao during National Holiday and COVID-19” at The 5th International Conference on Advances in Civil and Ecological Engineering Research (ACEER 2023).



On July 5, 2023, Prof. Thomas Lei from the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), was an invited speaker at The 5th International Conference on Advances in Civil and Ecological Engineering Research (ACEER 2023) held at Regency Art Hotel, Macao. His speech title was “Statistical Forecast of Pollution Episodes in Macao during National Holiday and COVID-19”. It was his first presentation in an international conference after the pandemic and it is extra special to be representing USJ and presenting his research in Macao.  

The aim of ACEER is to provide a platform for scientists, researchers, scholars and engineers from all over the world to present their latest research results and development activities in the field of Civil, Environmental and Ecological Engineering. The conference will also provide an opportunity for the participants to exchange new ideas and application experiences face-to-face, to establish business or research relations, and to find global partners for future collaboration. The conference results could lead to significant contributions to the knowledge in these up-to-date scientific fields.
