FBL’s Dr. Ivan Arraut, delivered a presentation as a guest speaker at The Center for Gravitation and Cosmology at Yangzhou University.

Prof. Ivan Arraut from the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), who teaches subjects in Mathematics for FBL and Physics for the USJ Institute of Science and Environment (ISE), delivered a  seminar presentation at the Center for Gravitation and Cosmology (CGC) of Yangzhou University on the 25th April 2025.

In his talk, Prof. Arraut presented novel solutions to the problems of Dark Energy and Dark Matter, drawing from his recent publication available in the The European Physical Journal C Q1, and identified as “Solving the dark energy problem via symmetry constraints”, Eur. Phys. J. C 85, 475 (2025).

In addition to this key publication, papers of Prof. Arraut’s work mentioned in the presentation were “The cosmological constant emerging from a symmetry invariant” in Modern Physics Letters A 39 (25n26), 2450115, and “The Tully-Fisher law and dark matter effects derived via modified symmetries” 2023 EPL 144 29003.

The solutions proposed by professor Arraut have generated several interest and discussion internationally. The seminar attracted experts and students in the field and students at Yangzhou University, creating a vibrant exchange of ideas in this area of research.
