Prof. Isabel Morais presented the paper in Vietnam

Prof. Isabel Morais presented the paper entitled “The Cult of Fatima in Post-Colonial Macau: Confraternities, Gender, and Heritage as ‘(Re)invented Traditions’ in a Chinese Territory” and chaired the respective conference panel at 7th South and Southeast Asian Association for Culture and Religion (SSEASR) Conference held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 9th – 12th July, 2017 organised by Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Buddhist University in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam National University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The general topic of the conference was “ASEAN Region’s Culture and Religion by the end of 21st Century: A Dialogue of Past with Present?”.
