Prof. Álvaro Barbosa published a co-authored (with Prof. Thomas Tsang) research paper at the NIME 2017
Prof. Álvaro Barbosa, Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industries at the University of Saint Joseph, published a research paper co-authored by Prof. Thomas Tsang, Architecture Studio Coordinator at the University of Hong Kong, at the International Conference NIME 2017 (New Interfaces for Musical Expression), in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Paper is entitled “Sounding Architecture: Inter-Disciplinary Studio at HKU” and it presents critical observations about the Year 2 Architecture Studio at HKU after a final public presentation of all projects on 29th November 2016. The numerous projects, analysed and presented in this event, explore topics such as sonification, collaborative music instruments multidimensional interaction design, wearble music instruments, etc.
